Hi Everyone,
My family and I will (hopefully) be flying in two weeks. I am shaking a bit even typing that. I have not flown since my children were born and my children have never been on a plane. They are old enough now (15 and 17) to understand that the reason for this is that I am afraid to fly. I NEVER wanted my children to be afraid to fly though. So, I bought the SOAR DVDs and booked our trip to the Grand Canyon.
Well, guess what? My kids both told me the other day that they are a "little nervous" about flying. I asked if they were nervous about the flight or about MY reaction to the flight. Understandably (and honestly) they answered "Both". Now what??? For all of you fellow doomsayers, of course part of me is taking this as "a sign" that we should not go. PLEASE HELP!!!
